First Patron Of Scottish Photography

20150927092613_07

The bust of Lord Kinnaird sitting under the spiral staircase in the McManus Galleries formerly the Albert Institute, which I think sounds much better. Lord Kinnaird was the first patron of Scottish photography and I had a bit more info on that from the galleries but I've formatted the card it was on so I'll need to make a trip back.
The McManus Galleries will be 150 years old in 2017 so I'm sure they'll be making plans for that soon. Some more info on early Scottish photography here.

These shots are scans from the negatives I developed last night, they've not been cleaned up or edited. Taken on Nikkormat FTN with Kentmere 400 film.
